CEO, Director, and Founder
Christina Brugman is an accomplished and respected leader in the child protection and disability sectors, with a career spanning over two decades across both government and community settings. Beginning her professional journey in Community Corrections, Christina specialised in offender assessment and served as a court prosecutor—building a strong foundation in justice, risk, and behavioural analysis.
Since transitioning into the child protection sector, Christina has held a broad range of roles from frontline practitioner to executive leadership, working with several major organisations across Queensland. Her extensive experience includes working directly with some of the state’s most complex and high-risk young people in both therapeutic and operational roles, as well as managing clinical frameworks within residential care services.
Christina is widely recognised for her strategic contributions to the development of trauma-informed models of care, organisational frameworks, and robust policy and procedure design. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of both the systemic challenges and frontline realities faced by vulnerable young people and families.
As the Director and Founder of Praxis Solutions, Christina brings her passion for social impact to life delivering high-quality, integrated support services that bridge the gap between child protection and disability care. Her unique background in both Community Corrections and Family Services, combined with hands-on leadership experience in both government and community organisations, allows her to deliver practical, meaningful change at both the individual and systemic levels.
Christina is driven by a commitment to making a real difference in the community ensuring that every young person and family receives the support, dignity, and opportunity they deserve.

Executive Manager of Operations
Luke is a values-driven leader dedicated to serving young people, participants, and employees, with a strong emphasis on organizational growth, ethical practice, and sector capacity building. With extensive experience across child protection, out-of-home care, and disability services. Luke leads high-performing teams that deliver trauma-informed and neuro-responsive, holistic supports to vulnerable young people with complex needs.
Passionate about disrupting disadvantage, Luke champions person-centered, evidence-based approaches that facilitate healing, promote wellbeing, and foster positive child development. Through strategic leadership and system-level thinking, Luke has guided teams to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes for some of the most at-risk young people in the community. Luke also plays a key role in enhancing and strengthening NDIS service provision, ensuring high-quality, participant-led supports that align with best practice standards and promote genuine choice and control for individuals.
In their leadership role, Luke oversees multidisciplinary teams, drives operational excellence, and creates environments where staff thrive and deliver high-end services. Luke brings proven expertise in change management, navigating complex legislative frameworks, conflict resolution, budget management, workforce development, accountability, and performance leadership. Luke is proud to manage a significant workload while maintaining a focus on quality, growth, and lasting impact.

Executive Manager of Quality
My name is Leonie, and I am the Executive Manager of Quality at Praxis Solutions. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children and families for the past twenty-five years with particular focus in the Child Protection & Residential Care space. I have a passion for quality practice which has led me to roles within the Practice Development and Learning spheres.
I hold a deep commitment to ensuring that Praxis Solutions engages in quality systems and continuous improvement processes to embed best practice and safe and inclusive organisational culture. I approach leadership as a change facilitator working within a community of care environment, with a strong passion for the opportunity to shape and guide individuals’ professional growth.
The delight of my life is my cheeky five year old Boston x French Bulldog. We love to share adventures, 4wding, camping and hiking. In my spare time, you will find my doing home renos, gardening or at the gym.

Business Support Coordinator
Andrew is a results-driven leader with deep expertise in operational management, team development, and business support across fast paced, service driven environments.
Currently serving as Business Support Coordinator at Praxis Solutions, Andrew plays a key role in optimising business systems and supporting strategic operations across multiple departments. With a focus on organisational efficiency, stakeholder communication, and time management, he contributes directly to business performance, service excellence, and process compliance.
Andrew held senior operational role at Experience Co, where he led a team of 50+ across multiple departments. In these roles, he managed recruitment, training, onboarding, compliance, and team performance, driving improvements in both culture and outcomes.
As former owner-operator of Paradiso Café, Andrew also brings entrepreneurial insight, having overseen all aspects of business operations including financial oversight, labour planning, stock control, and digital marketing.
Recognised for fostering high-performance cultures, Andrew is passionate about team coaching, diversity, and clear communication that aligns people with purpose.

Business Support Officer
My name is Kathryn, I also go by Kat, I’m a Business Support Officer with Praxis Solutions.
I have a background across a variety of industries, but I have always been people focused. Providing support and being a genuine connection that my team can rely on has been my consistent goal throughout my career. I feel very strongly about the hard work and sacrifices it takes to provide a healthy foundation for children and advocating for those who face barriers in advocating for themselves.
Through my work with the Deaf community, I found an outlet to channel my passion for working within a community as well as my love of all things organisational. I’m excited to see how I can implement those passions here, and how my work with the Business Support team here at Praxis will help me develop my skills and passions even further!

My Name is Dulcie , and I am the Business Support Officer at Praxis Solutions.
For the past 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to the community service sector, with 7 of those years focused on supporting children in out-of -home care.
My passion lies in creating nuturing environments, building strong communities and having fun along the way. I thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced settings, where I have the privilege of connecting with incredible individuals who share my dedication to making a difference.

Program Case Manager
My name is Kellie, and I am the Program Case Manager at Praxis Solutions.
I have been working with children in out of home care for the past 8 years.
I love my role at Praxis, it is both challenging and rewarding and no two days are ever the same.
I am highly driven to empower Young People to be all they can be and strengthening connections to their culture and community, as well supporting them to create long lasting memories.

My name is Emma and I have been a Program Case Manager at Praxis Solutions for over a year now.
My background is founded in Psychological Science and Criminology and I have worked in criminal law, family law and management roles over the last 7 years. The young people that come into our care at Praxis Solutions are some of the strongest yet most vulnerable children in our community. I am passionate about fighting for, protecting, inspiring and strengthening the children that come into our care and Praxis Solutions provides a foundation and environment focused on therapeutic intervention, intentional efforts and quality care that allows us to see true, positive changes in each of our young people.
To me, there is nothing more important and every day I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to learn with and learn from each of our young people and team members.

Program Coordinator
My name is Tracey Smith, and I’m the Program Coordinator at Praxis Solutions.
With over 14 years of experience in community services, I’ve worked across Residential Care, intensive family support and flexible education. My career began in youth work, where I discovered my passion for supporting young people in developing life skills, building healthy relationships, and making positive decisions. I later spent 10 years in intensive family support, working closely with families and children at risk, followed by a role in Flexi schools supporting disengaged youth through their senior schooling.
Now at Praxis, I oversee the development and opening of residential programs, working closely with our leadership team to ensure every young person is welcomed into a safe, stable, and supportive environment. I’m passionate about creating spaces where both young people and staff feel connected, empowered, and valued.

My Name is Hailey, I am a Senior Youth Worker and NDIS Coordinator at Praxis Solutions. I bring four years of experience in community services, with the last three focused on out-of-home care.
My work is driven by a deep empathy and compassion for children and families facing challenging situations. This connection motivates me to provide the care, support, and guidance needed to help children heal, grow, and thrive.

I have been working in the Community service section first as a volunteer for 6 months then into a permanent position in 2019.
I have always worked in the residential care sector, I enjoy the challenges and making positive memories for the young people that will remember.
