NDIS Services
What NDIS supports and services do you provide?
We deliver a range of NDIS supports, including personal care assistance, household help, community access, capacity-building skills, Supported Independent Living (SIL), and Support Coordination tailored to individual plan goals.
Can I use your services if my NDIS plan is NDIA-managed, plan-managed, or self-managed?
Yes. We work with participants across all management types, coordinating directly with plan managers, the NDIA, or self-managing individuals to handle invoicing seamlessly.
How are support workers selected and matched to participants?
We assess individual support needs, personal goals, cultural background, and preferences to match participants with qualified workers who share similar interests and values.
What qualifications and safety screenings do your support workers hold?
All staff undergo mandatory NDIS Worker Screening Checks, police background checks, and orientation training covering the NDIS Code of Conduct and practice standards.
How do service agreements and pricing structures work?
Prior to commencing support, we establish a clear Service Agreement detailing line items, schedules, and costs aligned strictly with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
What happens if my needs change or I need to adjust my schedule?
Plans are flexible. You can adjust service hours, update goals, or pause services by giving notice as specified in your Service Agreement.
Child Safety
What is the main focus of your Child Safety services?
Our child safety services provide trauma-informed care and stabilisation for children and young people at risk, working to ensure their physical safety, emotional well-being, and developmental growth.
How do you work with government departments and child protection agencies?
We operate as an accredited service partner, implementing government case plans, facilitating supervised family contact, and providing structured reporting.
How are families involved in the child safety process?
Where safe and legally permitted, parents and primary carers participate in care planning, family group conferencing, and ongoing goal reviews to support positive outcomes.
How do you maintain cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children?
We embed the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principle into practice, ensuring children remain strongly connected to family, community, culture, and country.
What happens when a child or family is referred to your organisation?
We conduct an initial intake assessment to identify immediate care needs, risk factors, and strengths, establishing a tailored support plan focused on long-term stability.
Can families access support voluntarily before a crisis occurs?
Yes, we offer early intervention programs designed to assist families in building parenting skills and resolving home challenges before formal protection intervention is necessary.
Residential Care
What is residential care, and who is it intended for?
Residential care provides 24/7 out-of-home accommodation and support for children and young people with complex needs who cannot reside at home or in traditional foster arrangements.
How many young people live in each residential home?
Homes are typically arranged for small groups (usually 2 to 4 residents) to foster a stable, home-like environment with personalised attention.
What level of staff supervision and care is provided?
Residential locations are staffed around the clock by qualified youth workers trained in trauma-informed practice, therapeutic crisis intervention, and behavior support.
How do you handle medical, mental health, and educational needs?
Every resident has an individualsed care plan encompassing regular school attendance, health appointments, therapeutic counseling, and recreational activities.
Are family members permitted to visit children in residential care?
Family contact is actively supported through safe, structured visits, phone calls, and family events whenever aligned with the child's care plan and court orders.
How are referrals made to your residential care homes?
Referrals are submitted through state child protection and social service departments rather than direct community self-referrals.
Transitional & Family Services
What are Transitional & Family Services?
These services support young people preparing to leave care for independent adult life, as well as families working toward safe reunification or crisis recovery.
How do you assist young people aging out of care?
We provide practical life-skills training, including budgeting, securing housing, pursuing higher education or employment, and establishing local community support networks.
What is involved in the family restoration process?
We work alongside birth families to address protection concerns, build parenting capacity, and facilitate a step-by-step, safe return home for the child.
How long do transitional and family support programs last?
Program duration ranges from short-term intensive support (3–6 months) to long-term post-care guidance, depending on the participant's specific goals and funding structure.
What practical tools are offered during family coaching?
Support includes hands-on household budgeting guidance, meal planning, positive discipline strategies, emotional regulation tools, and community linkage.
Who can access these transitional programs?
Programs are accessible via statutory department referrals, community partner agencies, or self-referral depending on the specific program funding rules.
